What is RAW Editing?

RAW editing turns near-unfinished camera data into a finished photograph by deciding brightness, color, and tone.

Concept

JPEG already has camera or phone processing baked in. RAW keeps more information before that final look.

RAW gives more room, but can initially look dark, flat, or strange because it still needs development.

How to use it in SELON

SELON uses browser-side DNG and Apple ProRAW workflows as a starting point for density, halation, and film-like color.

RAW is not magic. Start with exposure, white balance, highlights, and shadows before adding texture.
